About the event
50 years ago, we spent 40% more time preparing our meals. Besides that, we now spend 87 minutes per day eating or drinking while doing other things (secondary consumption)! Who would have thought that less cooking led to more eating? Life has become very busy with activities that are not related to preparing and cooking our food. Partially because of this, we as a society have more modern diseases, from gut related issues to cancer and diabetes. Outside pressure, especially related to work and running a household without much support from our ‘tribe,’ is taking its toll food wise. And these are exactly the moments when we need healthy input the most. During this workshop, you will learn which foods are most important, what to avoid and how to prepare quick, easy and healthy meals to support your body and to create a healthier environment (from the inside and outside!). These meals are perfect to eat at work and will give you the energy to work with deep focus even after your lunch, making you less edgy when you come home after a long working day as well. I will also give you tips how to choose the best lunch when eating out, because that’s part of a modern life.
